If you're doing Spring Cleaning, give some attention to your shutters.  If you have Polywood shutters, you can dust them with a cloth, which can be dampened if needed.  Hot water will help remove stubborn spots.  There's no need to use cleaning solutions.

Ovation wood shutters should be dusted without any liquid or cleaning solution.

If it's been a while since you've dusted your shutters, sometimes it helps to wipe the shutters completely with 1 cloth, then a second time with a new cloth.

Take a vacuum attachment to dust that might be in the window sill area, then wipe it down as well.  If you're washing your windows, remember to swing your shutter panels open so as not to spray any window cleaner on the shutters.

Sunburst Shutters & Window Fashions has numerous treatments that can be modified seasonally.  This is especially true of our Panel Trac product.  While the track itself stays attached to the ceiling, the individual fabric panels can be easily removed and replaced.  You can utilize rich reds and oranges for autumn, softer tones in the winter, pastels in spring and warmer colors in summer.  It's an easy way to change the look of your home without investing in new furniture.

Most of the blind and shade products we offer slide into brackets that are attached to the window opening.  If you purchased different patterns/colors of the same window treatment, it would be easy to make the change.

We used a unique solid material that included UV inhibitors to block heat and light.  We engineered the louvers to close tightly and minimized gaps to reduce air flow.  We created a revolutionary design that included interlocking pieces of weather stripping along the vertical parts of the panel to block out air flow.  And we used the best paint finish in the industry to make sure Polywood was the best insulating product you could add to your windows.
