Introducing the next generation of plantation shutters
LAS VEGAS, December 1, 2004 — Think of it as the contemporary cousin to the classic plantation shutter – Ultra Clear™ is the latest version of Sunburst Shutter’s® classic Polywood® shutter. With Ultra Clear, the tilt rod that controls the upward and downward movement of the shutter’s louvers has been replaced with a concealed mechanism that moves all the louvers in unison.
“With Ultra Clear you get the functionality of a tilt rod plus the benefit of an unobstructed clear view from any window,” says Sunburst Shutters CEO Dix Jarman. “The homeowner can move the louvers to any position, not just completely open or closed. Plus they will stay firmly in that position until they are moved again.”
This new louver technology represents the evolution of the interior shutter, and adds a new variation to this popular window covering.
